The specific users of "Lucian Blaga" Central University Library are students, professors and researchers of "Babes-Bolyai" University and other state and private universities in Cluj-Napoca and the entire country.
          Our library is permanently trying to avert the information and documentation needs of all its categories of users. The main objective of the EnterTransylvania project is the digitisation of our library's valuable collections (patrimonial documents, iconographic material, rare periodicals etc.). Chronologically, the project aims at the publications of the historical period from the Middle Age to the Modern Age.

• a broader and faster access to information, without affecting the preservation of the original documents
• diversifying possibilities of accessing the patrimonial collections of the library, by offering remote access to the digitised documents
• improving the quality of document research, the digitised publications allowing both reading and analysing details, comparing similar documents etc
• developing new and modern library services for users (access to digital documents, document scanning, document delivery, document reproduction using digital camera, writing digitised information on traditional or electronic support etc.)
• displaying the digitised information in the online catalogue of the library, for a faster and easier access to the documents
